I’m a therapist who has lived experience navigating many life transitions that have challenged my ability to cope and pushed me to expand. My experiences have deepened my commitment to being a person and a therapist with compassion, an open mind, and a nonjudgmental attitude. When we work together, I’ll laugh with you, cry with you, and gently point out when you’re being too self-critical.
I’m also a therapist who doesn’t pretend to know it all. I’m consistently attending continuing education courses on topics that enhance my abilities to help my clients. I often share resources like books, podcasts, or support groups that are relevant to your needs.
In our consultation and first few sessions, we’ll determine if we are a good fit. If we are not, I will give you resources to find someone better suited for you.

Drawing from professional training and experience in multiple evidence-based modalities, I specialize in helping people understand their emotions and use them as a guide to know themselves better. In this way, my clients can make decisions and behave in ways that are more aligned with their values, needs, and desires.
Every day, we remember the past, experience the present, and anticipate the future.
My approach to therapy weaves the past, present, and future to help you understand
how your past influences your present
how to live in the moment
how to create a brighter future

My rate is $175 for a 55-minute session. There are limited appointments available for people at the $155 and $135 rate per 55-minute session. All clients receive the same care, attention, and respect.
The equitable fee model allows me to honor my commitment to providing access to high-quality mental healthcare while building a sustainable practice.
Financial seasons vary and this model allows the practice to make a limited number of appointments more accessible. Fee level availability will be reviewed at 2 distinct times of year across the practice to ensure client accessibility and practice sustainability. You will not be asked to provide financial statements or other proof of financial hardship. If your fee will change, you will receive advance notice.
Details can be found on the Investment page, and I will answer any questions in our consultation.

It depends! Some clients come to therapy with one specific issue they want to work through and after a few months, they feel that they have gotten what they need, so they end therapy. Others spend years in therapy to work on themselves and maintain their progress. Clients tend to start with weekly sessions, then move to bi-weekly sessions as goals are achieved. Eventually, they may move to monthly maintenance sessions.

No two people or clients are the same. I highly value and seek to honor our differences. I have personal and professional experience living and working alongside people of diverse races, religions, ethnicities, countries of origin, ages, and genders. I have a rich understanding of a few different faith backgrounds, though I do not work from any religious framework. As cultural competence is a journey, not a destination, I am constantly seeking to learn more about how to provide high-quality mental healthcare to people of different backgrounds and I welcome these conversations. Feel free to ask me more in our consultation.
