Therapy for when the world doesn’t stop turning
Life moves fast.
One day, you look around and don’t recognize your life… or yourself! Your thoughts race and your emotions feel too jumbled to understand.
You need the world to slow down so you can catch your breath and figure out who you are and what you want, so you can take those next steps.
Our work together can be that calm space where you take a pause, gain insight, learn how to cope, and determine who you want to be and where you want to go next.
An approach grounded in research, tailored to your life.
You don’t have to settle for a life wrought with anxiety, panic, loneliness, or anger. Using a variety of approaches, we can develop your understanding of why your mind feels like it’s working against you, why your relationships feel disconnected, or why your career feels unfulfilling.
You can develop your ability to face life’s changes by making space to grieve what you lost and developing your eye for opportunity and growth.
We work together to identify attainable and relevant action steps to change your life now. This might mean coming up with a journal prompt, trying that new hobby, initiating a conversation with new person, or even just letting yourself rest for once!

Your Therapist & Travel Companion
Welcome to Uncovered Roads. As you take brave steps to discover the path ahead, it would be my privilege to be a trusted companion. As your therapist and trusted companion, I will create a place of support and comfort, offering different perspectives and insightful questions, challenging the way you think and helping you identify obstacles and patterns. I focus on helping you figure out what YOU want to do and give you tools to help you get there.
My life experience and professional training have provided me with the tools to help you find your way. Coming from Queens, NY, my life has always been alongside and amongst diverse communities of people. My career began with counseling teenagers at a Washington, DC high school and later I transitioned into case management to support people experiencing homelessness to access shelter and affordable housing.
My clinical style lies in my authenticity, my humor, my metaphors, making therapy feel comfortable, and keeping your goals in mind while we traverse the winding road of your life.
My toolbox includes a variety of modalities, but here are the main ones that guide me: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotion Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I also pull from Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy. I am a continuing education NERD and I’m always fine tuning my craft. I enjoy sharing resources to help you learn and grow towards your goals. These can include support groups, books, podcasts, music, hobbies, and anything else that can enhance your journey.
Together, we will create the map that gets you where you want to be and you can take those next steps with clarity and support.
But who are you really?
I’m someone who began attending my own therapy at 19-years-old. I’m someone who deeply understands depression and anxiety and had access to therapy that got me out of dark places and gave me tools to lead my own life and reach for my dreams.
My relationships make my life colorful, and I’ve learned to have those hard conversations that make them authentic too.
I love to dance and I will always check out a good thrift store. I love to try different cuisines, I’m learning to cook more, and I’m embracing life through all of my own transitions.
I’m a therapist who has had many life changes; some I chose and some life chose for me. My goal is to help you navigate your own changes and create a beautiful life.
